The session will focus on the social constructions of youth(s) in Latin America. Special attention will be paid to written and visual representations that emanate from Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico. The presenters will develop pedagogical activities that encourage students to compare, contrast and identify the similarities and differences that exist among youth(s) nowadays. At the same time, the presentation aims to show that learning to "read" written or visual texts in another language requires alternative cultural interpretations. In Spanish.
